Omaha’s Airport (OMA) is located about 8 miles from downtown Council Bluffs. The airport offers nonstop flights to more than 30 major U.S. cities and serves more than 5 million passengers each year. Many Council Bluffs hotels offer complimentary transportation to and from the airport, but you can also find rental cars, taxis, limos and shuttle services at the airport.
If you prefer public transportation, the Omaha Metro bus systems does service several areas of Council Bluffs, including downtown Council Bluffs, the Mid-America Center, Iowa Western Community College, and other areas.
