Overview
The Walnut Community Center is perfect for your event and can handle a group of 25 or a group of 800 at very reasonable prices. We offer a diverse selection of spaces for family reunions, graduation parties, business meetings and retreats, birthday parties, craft fairs, team practices, sports leagues, youth sports tournaments, conferences, fund-raisers, auctions, and, of course, wedding receptions. We also decorate for the holidays, so the WCC is a popular choice for holiday gatherings.
Description of Rentable Spaces at WCC:
- Warrior Hall: large gymnasium/auditorium. Can hold up to 700 people, 450 table seating (rounds). Bleachers are available on both sides. Includes a lobby with a bar staffed by WCCF volunteers. Six basketball hoops. Two volleyball sets.
- Cardinal Hall: smaller gymnasium/auditorium with a raised stage. Can hold up to 350 people, 250 seated (rounds). Includes a lobby with a bar staffed by WCCF volunteers. Perfect for dances and wedding receptions. Two basketball hoops. One volleyball set.
- Community Room: Our most popular space, with a seating capacity of 75. Includes a kitchenette.
- East Conference Room: Perfect for meetings. Seated capacity 35. Adjacent to Warrior Hall lobby and bar.
- Davis Family Atrium: The lobby of Cardinal Hall is separately rentable and includes a full bar staffed by WCCF volunteers. Seated capacity 40 (banquet tables). Perfect for birthday parties.
- South Conference Room: Perfect for meetings and small gatherings, seated capacity 50.
- Kitchen: Our large kitchen is well-equipped and has plenty of refrigeration and freezer space, a double oven, a stove, and all the utensils you’ll need.
Other Facility Amenities:
Showers and locker rooms, concession stand, and bar service. Table/chair set up and tear down. Cleanup services after the event. Additional items to rent, such as tablecloths and decorations. Free Parking.
