Burma Shave Signs

Overview

Our Iowa Magazine hatched a plan to erect a set of "Burma-Shave" signs in each of Iowa's 99 counties. Walnut was fortunate to have been chosen as the single set of signs for Pottawattamie County. The signs have been installed on Antique City Drive, which is the main thoroughfare from Interstate 80 into Walnut. Take a trip through the 99 Iowa counties to discover each set of old-fashioned and nostalgic "Burma-Shave" signs. We think that the signs will add to the fun that visitors to Iowa can anticipate!
