"Story Weaver" is for people who want to tell and/or listen to stories told in and about the natural world in the oral tradition. Participants are also welcome to read stories, share a poem, or perform a song related to the natural world.
Stories or songs may be true, fictional, or mythic. They may be inspired by history, fairytale/legend/folklore, personal experience, observation, or even family. They may be sad, dramatic, funny, wise, or exciting.
We ask that your contribution is in some way related to nature, the wild, or ecology, such as plants, animals, rivers, stones, etc.
Attendance is welcome whether you wish to partake or just listen.
Free with paid $5/vehicle park entrance or membership. Please meet in the Gallery at the Loess Hills Lodge.
