Council Bluffs' historic Haymarket district has the largest collection of 19th-century commercial buildings remaining in the city and more than its share of history dating back over 150 years. Saturday, June 19, historian Ryan Roenfeld will host a walking tour through the Haymarket. The fifty-minute tour will be conducted three times: 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. The cost is $15 with all proceeds going to Preserve Council Bluffs. So that we can keep the tours small enough that everyone can hear the guide reservations are required and can be completed online.
Bring comfortable walking clothes and shoes, and sunscreen!
