Growing Native Prairie Plants

Golden Hills RC&D is partnering with Iowa Western Community College to host two educational classes about propagating native prairie plants in January 2020. Native plant enthusiast and grower Cait Caughey will teach techniques and best practices for starting native prairie plants using locally-harvested prairie seed.
Participants may sign up for one or both sessions. Pre-registration is required. Classes will take place at the greenhouses in Dodge Hall at Iowa Western Community College - 2700 College Road in Council Bluffs. Registration is available at goldenhillsrcd.org/growingnatives.
