December 8 | 6:00 p.m.Council Bluffs Public Library
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
Perfect for beginning gardeners and anyone who is interested in supporting native plantings in their outdoor spaces, Gardening for Diversity will give you the confidence and background knowledge you need to grow a beautiful native garden that supports local wildlife and provides other great benefits for you and your community! This first session will teach you how native gardening benefits wildlife and urban environments, help you choose a site for your garden, share ideas about plants to include and provide information about working with city ordinances and Homeowners Associations. Participants can pick and choose which sessions they would like to attend, but we recommend attending as many as possible to ensure you build a strong foundational knowledge. The cost is $15.00 per person per session and covers program materials. Ages 14+, please. Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. For questions not answered online please call 712-545-3283.
