From Steam Engines to Rocket Ships: Pushing Boundaries
August 27 | 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.Union Pacific Museum
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
Astronaut McArthur took one of Union Pacific’s Big Boy coin with her to the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Crew 2 mission in 2021. She returned to earth last November. Astronaut McArthur will be joining us at the museum on Saturday, August 27, to help us explore science, space travel and the technical innovations that have taken us from the transcontinental railroad to space exploration. Our event will be from 12 to 4 p.m. It will feature fun crafts and activities suitable for all ages. Astronaut McArthur will appear from 2 to 4 p.m. to answer questions and sign event takeaways.
