Education Is Everyone's Business Luncheon

Each year the Council Bluffs Schools Foundation, in cooperation with the Council Bluffs Community School District, hosts the Education is Everyone’s Business Luncheon as a way to inform business and community partners of the important things happening in our schools. This year the event will be held Wednesday, March 23 from 11:30-1pm at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs. This year's keynote address is Pathways, Partnerships, and Progress: Developing a Future Ready Workforce in Council Bluffs. With the support of higher education, business, and industry, the Council Bluffs Community School District's Diploma Plus One (D+1) Initiative is developing robust pathways that provide students with the education and experience to meet the needs of the workforce of tomorrow. In addition to the keynote, you'll hear from Chris LaFerla, Executive Director of the Council Bluffs Schools Foundation and the announcement of the Community Impact Award winner.
