Chanticleer Community Theater Presents: Whine, Women And Song
May 14 - 16 | 7:30 p.m.Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
This original piece is a musical tribute to the ladies of songs from the ‘30s, ‘40s, ’50s, and ‘60s. Six lovely ladies will sing the songs and add lots of laughs along the way. The songs are well known for their beauty, charm, young ideas, and their angst. Some of the songs which will be performed include Pearl Bailey’s Legalize My Name, Lotte Lenya’s Pirate Jenny, Patti Page’s Old Cape Cod, and the Andrew Sisters’ Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Also not to be forgotten are the wonderful girl groups of the periods, The Chiffons, The Shirelles, the Chordettes, the McGuire Sisters, the Dixie Cups, and the lovely Lennon Sisters. The Whinettes bring humor and their love of music to this cabaret of love!
Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15 showtime is at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 16 showtime is at 2:00 p.m.
