Join us at Arrowhead Park to learn the basics of kayaking: strokes, types of kayaks, water safety, and where to kayak. Then, test your new skills on the water at Arrowhead Lake. Equipment provided.
Cost for the program is $5 per participant. Pre-registration is required. Ages 12 years and up. Other time slots available below.
Please meet in the parking area across from the park office and come prepared with water shoes and clothing that may get wet. For questions not answered online please call 712-242-1189.
Want to make a family day of it, but have kids younger than 12? Other activities at Arrowhead Park include fishing, hiking trails, and camping (all tent and RV sites are first come, first served). Please note that swimming at Arrowhead Lake is not allowed. Arrowhead Park also has a playground and sand volleyball court.
