Join us at Hitchcock Nature Center for Building Better Birders: Introduction to Sparrows, Tanagers, Grosbeaks, Buntings & Similar Species of Iowa and learn more about these amazing birds that are common in Iowa. This program is open to all ages but is geared toward participants age 12 and over. There is no cost to attend this workshop. Building Better Birders is a programming series designed to improve the bird identification skills of local citizens and promote a greater interest in citizen science programming. Workshops are presented free of charge and supported by the Resource Enhancement and Protection - Conservation Education Program (REAP-CEP).
