Learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine: from setting it up properly, to sewing straight lines! We’ll cover: sewing machine parts and accessories, how to thread the machine, how to install the bobbin, and more! Bring your sewing questions and get started on your sewing journey!

This class is free and open to the public – ages 14+.

Upon completion of this class, you will be certified to check out the Janome Jem Gold Sewing Machine from the Makerspace!

***If you have your own portable sewing machine that works, feel free to bring it and a bobbin that fits the machine to use during class (the user manual may be helpful if available).***
