The Arts Center presents its 24th National Performance Season

The Arts Center at Iowa Western announces its 24th annual National Performance Season. The upcoming season comes on the heels of the previous that realized record audiences. It’s not hard to understand why with the high quality, professional artists performing in an intimate, comfortable space.


The 2024-25 National Performance Series again brings a variety of programming that will appeal to a wide variety of people. It opens with Exile, a genre-bending band that had wide success in the 1970’s-80’s. In October, the Arts Center welcomes the nation’s top Eagles tribute artists Hotel California: “A Salute to the Eagles.” Just in time for election season, audience members will all laugh along with The Capitol Fools (formerly The Capitol Steps), which will poke fun at all sides of the political spectrum. Michael Cavanaugh was so entertaining last year that he is returning for the holidays with A Merry Rockin’ Christmas, Starring Michael Cavanaugh. In February, The High Kings from Ireland will perform their traditional Irish sound. Next will be The Barricade Boys – Broadway Party, starring four men who all had lead roles in London’s West End production of Les Misérables. In April, JD Souther and Karla Bonoff: Together Again hit the stage. The 24th season concludes with local and national sensation Billy McGuigan in Billy McGuigan’s Pop Rock Orchestra.
