Fish fries have started in Council Bluffs! Here is your guide to finding a place to dine on Friday evenings this Lenten season.
Corpus Christi Catholic Church
- When: Every Friday from March 7 - April 11 | 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Where: 3304 4th Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA
- Menu: Fried pollock, fish taco shell, fries, baked beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, desserts, pizza option for kids.
- Cost: $15 adults, $7 kids
- Additional Information: Carry-out orders are available. Please call (712) 323-0014
St. Patrick Catholic Church
- When: Every Friday from March 7 - April 4 (No event April 11) | 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Where: 4 Valley View Drive, Council Bluffs, IA
- Menu: Fried and baked fish, fried shrimp, baked potato, coleslaw, mac and cheese, dessert, and drink. Beer and margaritas will also be available for purchase. Fish tacos are available on March 14 and March 28.
- Cost: $15 adults, $7 kids (Ages 5-12), children under 5 years free.
- Additional Information: Carry-out orders are available. Please call (712) 323-1484. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 each. The drawing for over $2,000 in prizes will take place on April 4.
St. Patrick Catholic Chuch - Neola
- When: Every Friday from March 7- April 11 | 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Where: 309 Third Street, Neola, IA
- Menu: Fried Alaskan pollock, baked potato, Orsi's bread, coleslaw, relishes, and desserts. Grilled cheese will also be available and can be substituted for fish.
- Cost: $15 for adults, $5 for children (Ages 5-10), children under 5 years free.

St. Peter's Catholic Church
- When: March 14 and April 4 | 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Where: 1 Bluff Street, Council Bluffs, IA
- Menu: Shrimp boil, coleslaw, cajun roasted potatoes, mac and cheese, red beans and rice with corn, bread, and cookies.
- Cost: $20 for adults, $10 for children (12 and under), and $10 for an extra shrimp boat
- Additional Information: Credit cards are accepted. To-go orders are also available.
