Madness Haunted House began as a labor of love for three guys in the driveway of co-founder Josh Bellows. From 2012 to 2015, it grew from a small gathering of friends into a full-fledged haunt, moving to the Mall of the Bluffs in 2016 until it was time for a change. In 2021, Madness found its home at the Pioneer Trail Orchard, thanks to a chance partnership with the winery. This fortuitous connection has allowed Madness to flourish while staying committed to the Council Bluffs community it adores.

What sets Madness apart from other haunted attractions? For starters, it boasts over 80 dedicated volunteers, with 60 acting as scare artists on any given night. Among the spine-tingling exhibits, you'll find the notorious Klown Korner—a labyrinth of 30 doors and 10 terrifying clowns that will test your courage. In addition to entertaining visitors, Madness donates a portion of its proceeds to local nonprofits, including Sail on and Fly High, an organization focused on youth suicide prevention.
